Nadia and I went to see Honey today. It was pretty excellent. I just like the small boy, Zachary Isaiah Williams, in the movie, he’s such a cutie. Lil’ Romeo was pretty excellent too, it’s incredible how he and Zachary look like real brothers.. they just have some of the same features. But Zachary stole my heart, what a talented small kid. Jessica Alba is really pretty, and I left there wanting to dance lol and well if you know me you’d know that my kids beg me NOT to dance. Okay okay so I’ve still got the 80’s thing going, give me a break. All in all though, the movie was pretty excellent.

I haven’t laughed so much in a long long time. OMG it was raunchy, yet amusing.. and heartbreaking all at the same time. I was nearly shocked to see sweet Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) as a terrible girl. Her F$$$ me Santa lines had me nearly cringing lol. And the Billy Bob Thronton Santa (aka alcoholic, dirty, no excellent loser) makes me want to keep my kid away from the Mall Santa Claus!!!

Billy Bob lives up to his usual self, I saw him on Sharon Osbourne’s show the other day and he kind of grossed me out saying that he wanted to really piss himself for the movie??!! Something tells me he didn’t have to act too hard for this role. I was shocked that the talents of John Ritter and Bernie Mac weren’t used to their full potential, they seemed to have rather bland roles in the movie. Like, why have them if they can’t have really excellent roles? I mean anyone could have played them.. but hey that’s just my opinion. (it was sad to see John Ritter in the movie knowing that this was his last movie ever)

Now, about that small boy, Thurman Merman (played by Brett Kelly), oh my gosh I felt so terrible for him.. and then at the same time I was thinking, “Oh my gosh what parent in their right mind would allow their poor child to be in this moving playing this role??????????” I really question their judgement, this was certainly not a movie for a kid to see, the poor small guy was overweight and made fun of which would be enough to give the poor kid a complex and scar him for life.. I don’t know. I really don’t know the whole “Hollywood” thing sometimes. Sure it’s amusing, sure it’s a movie… but it’s twisted sick humor.

After watching Terrible Santa, I left the movie theater feeling dirty. lol
