The Downfall Of Modern Society

It would seem that the human race is continuing to degrade in most every way. We have seen the benefits of technology but did not realize the negative aspect (our health, our environment, our children, our selves.) People kill each other without a second thought. Kids kill other kids. People steal – not because they are desperate, but because they enjoy it. Just listen to your local news to get the picture i’m painting.
Now, do you think these negative aspects of society have always existed but we didn’t have the access to info before? or
Has society suddenly rushed towards the cliff?

Sorry if this is a double post. Actually no I’m not.
I believe the good technology of the modern day media has a lot to do with too much information we’re getting. Crimes and violence of all kinds have always been in existence since time began, it only got more sophisticated.
