(HMG) – Not surprisingly Lady Gaga has fired back against the supposed ex-flame who’s accused her of cheating him out of millions, and filed a countersuit charging he’s the one who took advantage of her. Fusari, a song writer and music producer, filed the lawsuit Wednesday in New York City against Gaga for $30 million. Fusari painted himself as Gaga’s mentor and lover in his lawsuit. He claimed his former girlfriend, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, dropped his services as her career flourished. He alleged they co-wrote songs such as “Paparazzi” and “Gorgeous, Dirty, Rich” and that he came up with her stage name.

In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Gaga says producer Robert Fusari “induced” her into an “unlawful arrangement” where he would receive 20 percent of the earnings from her first four albums as well as producer fees, even if he didn’t produce the records. The “Poker Face” singer is seeking a court order declaring their contract “void and unenforceable,” as well as the return of any cash he’s already collected.

Fusari’s lawyer, Robert Meloni, said: “That argument is one of the most ridiculous I’ve heard in 30 years.” He called the contention “ludicrous” and said it “smacks of desperation.”

We’ll see how this all plays out, but I said at the time of Fusari’s suit that it has a sound of truth to it and I agree with his lawyer that this countersuit sounds like a desperate attempt to get the case dismissed.

(HMG) – Michael Vartan aka Michael Vaughn of TV’s Alias is engaged to Lauren Skaar, his rep tells PEOPLE Magazine.  The 41 year –ancient actor and his 21 year-ancient girlfriend have been dating for around a year and plot to marry next year.  The couple met last year at a Whole Foods parking lot in L.A., and got engaged two weeks ago in New York. This will be the first marriage for both.
Skaar is a 2006 graduate from U.C Santa Barbara and now works in Marketing and Advertising.  Vartan, who once famously dated his Alias co-star Jennifer Garner, currently stars opposite Jada Pinkett Smith in the TNT original series Hawthorne. Season two starts this summer.

When it comes to Justin Bieber, Ke$ha has the same opinion as millions of girls around the world: AWWWW!!!

Really, the outspoken singer takes her view of the young singer a bit further. In the latest issue of Maxim, this is what Ke$ha said about the 16-year ancient:

“He’s a tiny small baby! I would’ve loved to push him around onstage in a carriage.”

We gotta admit: that’s the weirdest Bieber fantasy we’ve ever heard. And fans have sent in plenty.

On the worst pickup line she’s ever heard: “Wanna know my favorite? This guy said, ‘Oh, my God, did you just fart? ‘Cause you just blew me away!’ I was, like, ‘Ew!’”

(HMG) – Comedian Rosie O’Donnell is set to return to syndicated daytime television, according to news reports. Rosie, who has both hosted a syndicated talk show and co-hosted ABC’s “The View” will try to fill the void left by Oprah Winfrey starting in the fall of 2011, according to on Showbiz411’s Roger Friedman.  Rosie has teamed with two powerful allies to get her show back on the air.  Dick Robertson now a consultant, but who was president of Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution for 17 years, and helped oversee Rosie’s first syndicated show which ran for 6 years.  And Scott Carlin who most recently served as head of HBO Domestic Distribution until he left last June, was also part of the team at WBDTD that launched “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.” He worked at the studio under Robertson for nearly two decades until leaving in 1999.

(HMG) – After much speculation, trotting out many young male leads out for screen tests, the new Captain America has been chosen. No weirder to comic book movies, it’s being reported that actor Chris Evans has been offered the lead role in “The First Avenger: Captain America.” The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Evans who played The Human Torch in Fantasic Four has been offered the part, but didn’t say that he has signed on yet. He’ll be committed to a number of future Marvel films including “Captain America” sequels, “The Avengers” and appearing in other Marvel Universe pictures. Evans will reportedly battle The Matrix and The Wolfman villain Hugo Weaving as The Red Skull in the first Captain America movie. Other candidates rumored to have been in the final selection process for Captain America included Channing Tatum, Ryan Phillippe, John Krasinski and Mike Vogel. The question now is, do you picture Evans as the right choice not only to play Captain America but to be the leader of The Avengers?
